Introduction

My name is Meghan Woerner I was born and raised in Central Florida, I am currently studying Anthrozoology as an undergraduate student at Beacon College located in Leesburg, Florida. Throughout this semester in Animals in the Public Eye I will be analyzing and interpreting Anthrozoologcial research in the ways that it affects human and non-human animal interactions.

Why does Anthrozoology matter?

Anthrozoology is important in the world we live in today, it examines the relationship that occurs in-between human and non-human animals. The field is positioned in-between the sciences and humanities critically examining and understanding diverse interactions and the ripple affect it has throughout the world.
