Wildlife (3)

Over the past decade over 467 species have been declared extinct by the IUCN. The main reason for extinction is the loss of habitat, some other factors are climate change, pollution, invasive species, human acts. Before the mass population of humans animals were allowed to range wherever they pleased. The animals main concern were natural disasters and predators, now they have to focus on human acts.

Humans have pushed animals and their habitats to the corners of the world where they do not want to set foot, leaving the animal with an undesirable location. Species that were once visible everywhere are now hard to find when you're looking for them. Humans used to be wary of the animals locations making sure they did not trespass on their land as they saw as the animals proper land. There are multiple reasons as to why animals are not put first, especially wildlife.

there needs to be a larger awareness and understanding that the more species go extinct the more opportunity there is for fault in that ecosystem. A majority of keystone species are on the endangered or watch list. Without these species the ecosystem would fail around them. Zoos and aquariums try to do a great job of a wearing the public on the situation that's at hand, however, there is still a stigma around zoos and their intentions they relay. there are many centers and wildlife lovers that are helping cope with the human acts that have occurred over the past 100 years. We cannot erase everything we have done however we can clean up and move forward.

The safety and growth of wildlife needs to be a top priority for this world as it is not only vital for them, it is vital for our planets survival as well as every species that inhabits it. wildlife species do not need humans for survival; however, humans need these wildlife species to survive.
