Humane education consists of education that involves incorporating compassion and respect for all ages, however its primary age focus is on younger children. This form of education is in place to teach future generations the importance of their actions and how they impact the world around them. Humane education teaches people of all ages that it is important to think about how your decisions impact those that you cannot see, there are lasting impacts to some decisions.
This form of education can have a lasting impact on generations and their ideologies they form. This type of education helps develop personal beliefs and values, that it is okay to think for yourself. This is an important form of education especially in today's society. To focus on wisdom, justice, and compassion educators are creating Solutionists. creating people that will take action in what they believe. As a young adult I wish I had grown up in an educational environment that had humane education. A school that taught me how to understand perspectives, analyze social issues, and be a person of change and action.
Humane education would create a World where people completed things based off of their beliefs and value system, that there would be a caring society not only for humans but also our planet and all beings on it. Humane education promotes growth in responsible development from a young age. Focusing on animal protection, social justice, and ethical environmental concerns while reducing violence. Humane education is believed to have the ability to reduce violence because it teaches people from a young age about violent acts and the ripple effect they cause.
